My name is Rosemary Carr. I’ve been self-employed since 1994.
I started my business in 1994 as a Business/Computer Consultant helping people to join the ranks of the self-employed. In the beginning, I myself had doubts about whether I could succeed on my own until I took the time to explore the realistic possibilities that existed in having a home-based business. I have watched this ‘trend” evolve into a full-fledged industry.
For the first few years, I focused on providing private consultations and workshops for those who wanted to start a home-based business. My mission was to provide high quality services and diversified resources for new Entrepreneurs.
When personal computers and desktops were beginning to come to the forefront, I saw the opportunity to provide a new benefit to my customers. Since the computer industry was my field before I started my business, I incorporated computer consulting, training and troubleshooting services into the mix as well. Three years later, I added web site and graphic design services.
I have since learned the importance of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and keyword research in optimizing my web sites. My business has now “evolved” into a diversified Internet-driven company and I welcome the challenges that it will bring! “Out with the old, in with the new”….as they say.
I have been “online” almost since the very first day that the Internet became a commercial hub. I have read every book and tried just about every kind of business “opportunity” out there that related to making money online. I have made money and I have lost money. However, I will never give up on it because I know that you can achieve great success if you know the right techniques and just follow through.
Since I’ve discovered the Affiliate Marketing explosion a few years ago, it has become the main focus of my business plan as well. Through trial and error I’ve been getting just a little closer with every step that I take in accomplishing my Business goals and Internet dreams.
I have found that versatility is almost a necessity in today’s business world.
